Not as wet as I was expecting. Saw some waterfalls yesterday, mountain was very misty this morning. Rivers didn't seem that full.

But it was really nice up there. Not cold. Fresh rainy air. Everything nice and green. Had a good run.

Build-up to the next front that will make landfall overnight. More wind than rain today. It will be very cold tomorrow (Sunday), so make the most of the sunshine.

P.S. SAEON Dwarsberg (Jonkershoek) mountain catchment recorded a phenomenal 95mm yesterday (Fri 6th).

Yup. The wind is schit! I don't see myself going anywhere today so going to make something to eat and go back to bed

Steady moderately heavy rain in Kenilworth during the early hours this morning (Sun 8th). The wind has abated somewhat, but will swing round to south-westerly later, bringing significantly cooler temperatures.

Ok now the rivers are full! Some places was easier to walk through the rivers rather than trying to navigate around. Went up to contour path, rain started to bucket on the way up, had a nice time playing in the rain.

Yup, there its starting here by us as well. Not only starting, it's bucketing!

A friend of mine wanted us to make a potjie today (neither of us have indoor braai facilities). So there goes that idea. **** that.
