It rumbled quite a bit so I'm expecting a lot of water. At home with the kids today, only picking up my wife from work later and then movies for the rest of the day.

I think rain has finally stopped.
Was pouring down pretty hard until 30 minutes ago... not continually, but for most of day since mid morning there where constant showers.

Oops, just having another downpour.
Guess it's not over until it's over.

Recent forecasts show unusually heavy rain on Mon 28th and Tues 29th, with the SAWS putting out a severe weather warning.

This 72 hour chart shows potential for 50-100mm in places, with tropical moisture being drawn into the system from an area to the north-west of Cape Town on Tues 29th.

About to hit the sack after a long day, and besides the gusts and increase in wind outside the heavy rain forecast to start early hours hasn't materialised yet.

Hopefully by morning the front is going to be in full swing! It's been a while since the rain poured down so hard on my roof I couldn't hear myself think.... or the TV.
