When was the last time it rained continuously for more than a day ie 2 or 3 days. Seems Cape Town rain is always half a day, to maybe a day. Then thats it.

Yeah might get out there on Saturday. I think a lekker run from Constantia Nek to the blockhouse and back will be magic

Damn, maybe look into installing a small JoJo tank if you can, even a 250l one will do, just to at least have flushing water

The Berg River Dam level is creeping up today (not as fast as Monday). Currently at 98.6%, likely to overflow very soon:

Edit: Berg River Dam is overflowing, at 102% at 6am on Wed 30th.

Good thing they cleared out the river a few weeks ago.

The overflow dam they built in Bridgewater after the last flood has never filled yet but I think it might just get tested this week.
