How it felt driving to Somerset West this morning.

Dropped my kid off at the primary school. Was tempted to take the boat rather than the Jeep.
But i do feel bad for the person running to work . Did not see him/her, all dressed in black. Almost hit her, but definitely sprayed her. Did not aim at her, did not aim at water holes, just the water running down the road was heavy enough to make big spray possible.

Drove past there earlier, only saw the outer puddle. Often these subways have electric pumps, which fail due to flooding!? Presumably the outer drains were blocked due to leaves and storm debris...
