The latest weekly report of the CT dam levels on Mon 19th shows an astonishing rise of 12.5% to 91.7% (from 79.2%). Theewaterskloof is practically full at 96%, and only Voelvlei has some way to go at 62%. See: https://www.capetown.gov.za/Family ...and-sanitation-services/this-weeks-dam-levels

These numbers are far above the seasonal average for the last few years. Rainfall totals so far in June for Newlands and Wynberg exceed 500mm and 400mm respectively. See: https://resource.capetown.gov.za/do...ity research reports and review/damlevels.pdf

91.7%

Bloody Hell...the worst storm, since childhood days, 35+ years ago...the rain, but the wind was on another level ...buckle down all...! Heading your way.
Yup. This is the Cape weather I remember from my childhood, living in Milnerton, Blouberg and Panorama. Weeks with almost continuous rain and very very little sunshine. just a bit early in the year ( about a month).
