It is optional.I didn't see that... any reason why ?
The only closures I saw were out east
Some roads flooded this morning on the way to Epping, Belgravia road close to Pedros and Engen flooded
Great job there Achmat! Some carports blown away, lots of trees damaged and branches all over.
My solar panels and carport I installed myself is still standing.
I'm not waiting on the municipality to sort out the trees in the road as two of them are cracked down the main trunk and will fall into my yard and damaging my fence. View attachment 1687439View attachment 1687441View attachment 1687443View attachment 1687445
The council contractors were doing a lot of preventive drain cleaning last month, at least in our area. Autumn leaves get everwhere, particularly during a major wind event.
Vote FF+.Lucky you ... the Epping flooding is a year after year problem ... reported numerous times. They just find it easier to plant a traffic vehicle there and force 100's of vehicles into a different direction ... which in itself causes even more chaos![]()
Jah, our pool this am is about 10cm higher than it was yesterday.Persistent moderate rain in Kenilworth this morning. Predicted to last most of the day. Cumulative totals could be quite large.
SAEON Dwarsberg (Jonkershoek mountain catchment) recorded an impressive 98mm up to midnight!

As much as I like them, they will never get enough votes even in WC/CapeTown nvm the rest of the country.Vote FF+.
Made the traffic so much better to town though...Probably jinxing it, but I think the school closures were a bit unnecessary.
At least it will keep the arrogance in the DA down. With more FF+ influence in the coalition, maybe that stupid 3.5kW feed-in rate will be scrapped. As much as I like them, they will never get enough votes even in WC/CapeTown nvm the rest of the country.
Lets keep on weathering!
