Rain in the desert is something really special, but sadly lacking of late..... for a brief moment I was excited by your comments and rushed over to the weather bookmark.... only to feel let down.....

Throughout the 60's and 70's , our average rainfall on this spot was around 21mm per year..... that all started to change in the late 80's..... The weather gone south.....
We get rain from two sides, when it reaches us.... firstly any massive Cape Cold front that has a long enough tail can bring rain for a few hours and then during the summer months, on the odd occasions the thunder clouds spill over from the interior and bring warm rain...... but this has failed over the last few years....
