Yeah, I haven't really felt it this year. I judge every year on the number of times I put my heater on in the lounge, this year it's still zero

My weather app said it felt like -1 when I woke up this morning.

Strange. Driving from Northern suburbs through Franschhoek pass Elgin and back car temp never dipped below 8'C. It is practically summer already.

Never really bothered with pics as we were on an endurance hike, plenty kilometres with very short breaks
The nice thing is this is the closest I have ever been to snow and I am not impressed, its rock hard

Next time I will take Gin and Tonic with and have a few drinks up there

Yeah, these past couple of weeks have been brutal in Stellenbosch - first time since we moved here in 2013 that we've had to sleep with the aircon on Heat!

And yesterday I was even wearing a beanie inside the house, while sitting 1m from the fireplace

A well developed cutoff-low is forming close to Cape Town today (Tues 1st), and will bring unusual weather conditions to the South-West and Southern Cape coast tomorrow (Wed 2nd), before moving offshore. It is difficult to make detailed predictions in advance, but prepare for strong winds, and heavy rain showers (starting this evening).
