The mist / fog over Canal Walk this morning was hectic. Was 27'c in Durbanville and 21'c when we got to Canal Walk. Then it was 24'c when we left and 32'c in Durbanville.

Mist/fog means high humidity. While it cools down outside, combined with the heat trapped inside it feels stifling

Spent yesterday painting our Garage roof - galv corr iron. 3rd and last coat. Painted white. Temp up there in the sun was 43 C. temp on our stoep in the shade peaked at 41 C. Today 38 C.
Wind was terrible. Lost 1kg yesterday. Feel like a extra dried out prune today.

The helicopters are still busy but it seems to be getting a bit better, after the fire apparently got to ~40m of the upper properties.
