Rain and their DIRTY Tactics!

Rain wants your money at ALL COSTS Even at the inconvenience of their customers ... For the past 8 months rain has been implementing dirty tactics to extract more money from us.

Firstly they removed the option to deactivate your plan on your own using the website or app and forced customers to contact 'Customer Service' iistead. We all know how non-existent their customer service was last year, so if they don't respond before the beginning of the next month you are screwd!! OH AND THEY DONT EVEN TELL YOU ABOUT THIS CHANGE ,YOU WILL FIND OUT THE HARD WAY like I did.. DIRTY TACTIC 1

TODAY I just tried to downgrade my unlimited 4g plan to pay as you use ( or any any other plan that will allow me not to pay anything untill I'm ready to use rain again ) but was told I have to completely cancel my sim card meaning I I have TO ORDER A NEW Sim CARD AND GO THROUGH THE WHOLE RICA PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN...THEY ARE TRYING TO INCENTIVISE CUSTOMERS NOT TO DEACTIVE(pause) THEIR "month to month plans " BY INCONVENIENCING THEM With Any Unnecessary Process . DIRTIEST TACTIC EVER !:! RAIN DOESNT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS .WE ARE JUST CASHCOWS TO THEM.

MXM Guys Cell C and MTN has just introduced very affordable LTE plans. For 200 bucks I can get 100gb{50day+50night) from Cell C and according to rains own data usage stats I use much less than that monthly so I should be good. RAIN NETWORK SUCKS so that's also another reason to bounce
 
Sheesh!, no need to shout and Bold. When you have calmed your vagina, kindly make it more readable please.
 
Yes, Rain did quietly discontinue their pay as you use option in late-2020 or early-2021. It sucks, but your choice is to go elsewhere. I moved to Vodacom and my parents to Telkom. There are good deals on all networks, find what works for you.

Here's the thing. I see a poor soul who has been driven to dementia by Rain. Albeit that it is OP's first post in the hallows of this forum, you cannot deny the anguish when seen in the context of a myriad of others who Rain appears to have angered. Personally, I see absolutely nothing wrong with the manner in which the post was written or displayed. Nothing whatsoever.

What I do see are people who want to shoot his cry down in flames. So when @newklear bombs on the dude with such aggression, who is in obvious pain, my instinct is that he is an employee, rep or something similar. Selah.

Oh aye! I don't think you should be psychoanalysing or diagnosing the OP. Now that is pretty much uncalled for and would gladly give you a Glasgow Kiss for that. Don't worry BaasThiza, I got your back.

Wish I could help the guy, unfortunately I do not have any affiliation with Rain. I sure do hope he finds a stable connection and finds low latency with the down and up he needs.

Such aggression ? What a hypocrite! Longos imitaris!
