Rain are theives!!! Beware!!

I took out a rain 4g subscription in September to test it out... the network was pathetic so I sent a request to their support staff to cancel and they didn't do that... they didn't even give me a call... they just blatantly ingored it..as a result they debited my account for October even though I didn't use the sim card since September... I've tried to get hold of them but they aren't responding... took to social media and they block my comments as they cannot deal with bad publicity... they quick to steal money from you but will not at all get back to you when questioned about it! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone as they have very rude staff and have no support structures available!! Has anyonr managed to get their refund or get in contact with them? As this is increasingly frustrating!!!

Why did you try and cancel it via a support request?

"Beware Rain are Thieves" Yes for months they gave me a crappy service. Complaints went nowhere. Then last month Oct 2020 I cancelled through their website and today, nasty surprise, Rain deducted R250 for November. I don't know what to say. They are a nasty bunch. Don't do business with Rain!!!! So now to get the money back will be impossible. And maybe next month they will harvest another R250.

Yikes.

Then you have the right to be pissed.

On what date did you cancel?

Maybe they cannot action cancellations made after the 24th of a month, just like some other ISPs.
