Has anyone else had RAIN billing issues?
Long story short, I had rain sim and used rain for about a year. I moved my payment date up by a couple of days to accommodate my new salary date. I was then billed an extra month. I was under the impression that we were billed upfront and that I would only be charged pro-rata for those days. Fast forward a couple of months, 5G was switched off in my area and I then decided to cancel.
I am now being harassed by debt collectors for R599 however, I was disconnected and my router was collected soon thereafter. I understand that R599 isn't a lot of money but out of principal, it's not acceptable.
When you sign up for Rain, you pay and then they activate the sim.
When did Rain become postpaid?
