I tested the Rain LoopPhone for a month

I tested the Rain LoopPhone for a month on one of the mobile operator’s new Unlimited Mobile packages, and it performed extremely well.

We picked up a Rain LoopPhone on the new Unlimited City plan for R595 at the start of July 2026, and used it regularly over the past month.

I’m no Android nerd but it seems pretty feature-packed with a supposedly OLED 120hz screen (how can you not know this for sure going into a review?) and under screen finger print reader and the useless little thingy on the back for only R7,999.

That's a real pity. Been waiting for a 5G mifi deal from them for so long and thought this would be a potential workaround.
