RAIN LTE-A: Speedtests

Awesome - my speeds are back or rather everything is still fine but off late my PING was double inching to around 40ms but now its back to 19. Glad to see that sorted.

The above image was back in december 18. almost a month ago.
Right now speeds are so dismal I am even shocked. Upload test fails mid way

Doringkruin, Klerksdorp. WIth external LTE antennas, with clear line of sight to the tower.

You would think that test is ok, but one cannot have a face to face Skype call without it dropping. Rain's product is absolute rubbish. Rather look elsewhere before spending R1000 per month on this rubbish.

This is my average speed in Kimberley... You should enjoy anything faster than this!!

Mine has gone to the dogs. I cannot connect to the 2600 frequency anymore. So I cancelled mine.

i used the Huawei Band tool and i tried to Force 2600TDD on the Huawei B525 and it says no Service.

Amazed how stable rain is in my area (Bellville), been using it since launch and rarely have any issues.

Ping: 14ms
Download: 45.61Mbps
Upload: 17.05Mbps

Cannot complain at all. :)

You can try and force 2500 TDD (band 41) or 2600TDD (Band 38) both should work. If your router does not support band 38 use band 41 and vice versa. If you forced it an the router accepted the setting but get no service that means the router supports the band but obviously the tower does not have band 38/41 and you are stuck with Band 3 (1800MHz)

I have a spend limit of R250 ( that is 0 peak data ) so why is it that somedays the internet still works during peak hours on my SIM? Will I be charged for that even though I have the peak limit set to 0?

Not sure how your internet is working during peak time, but no, you will not be billed.
