Rain Mobile Feedback Thread

Rain support: Kindly note we aware of the issue in the area our technical department are currently working on it.
apologies for any inconvenience caused but for now please keep on checking time and again if it hasn't improved.

I'm back to dial-up speeds today.
Constant disconnects and cannot even load web pages to do a speedtest, let alone stream at 144p.
This has been a real struggle for the last few months.
The only good thing was the free data when the Boks won.
It actually worked well during that time only surprisingly.

Well, P2P is being shaped, and even a Jdownloader2 session downloading with https from real-debrid barely reaches 500KiB/s. Going to try the MTN Fixed LTE

Saw Rain and Vodacom cars not far from me at a new tower location

Tested both Vodacom and Rain getting much better signal now only supports 1800 mhz but its a step in the right direction.

Nice to see new towers going up just hope they convert it to a 5g Tower :)

Well 65573 is the 4G network that Rain uses in conjunction with 5G. 65573 is used to establish 5G connection and for upload if 5G signal is weak. From all my testing 65573 is on all 5G towers. Don't quote me on it but that is what I have observed.

Are you being facetious? No italics? Where is this rep when everybody has been complaining about how the constant disconnects and basically sub standard 4G?

Only interact via pm not sure why but still very helpful.

Alright thanks for your explanation

0.36 mbps this morning. Struggled to even load the speed test. If this isn't fixed by the end of this month I'm canceling my subscription. Can't have these crap speeds when it's school holidays.
