Hi all
There have been some changes to the packages from rain, and I got this notification from them yesterday

Not wanting to be caught with an "upgrade" that I don't want/can't use, the above means I keep my off peak unlimited data, and get an additional SIM?
Anyone "upgraded" to this option?

I did, after getting a couple of calls (and that same message)

I logged in after receiving the 2 sim cards, the billing is still exact the same. It has been more than a week

If I see any change, I will report back.

Thank you ... spoke to the myBB rain rep yesterday, clicked the upgrade button this morning :)

"You get the same unlimited off-peak for any device" I call BS, my phone used the data instead of the off-peak. It then proceeded to cut the data instead of using the off-peak.

There is no Unlimited off-peak for any device.

You still need to use your old sim which will be the ONLY one able to do unlimited off-peak 4G

That last line is literally what they just told me over the phone.

I can't help but wonder what the company's motivation behind this upgrade is. Not only does it cost them to push this campaign, but they also need to pay for the new SIM cards and extra network traffic. Of course, no company would do this if they didn't benefit in some way.

Hi sssutututu

Please provide us with your email via PM | https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/conversations/add?to=rain_mobile

Is there anyway to upgrade the 5G package to a higher speed and not take this rain one thing? I’m really not interested.
