I recall our local one was bust re-selling expired yogurts by breaking up a six-pack and throwing away the one with the expiry date on it. I kid you not.

Again cheap imports won't dry up ESPECIALLY from the US if y all remember Most South African products enjoy duty free access to the US market. The terrible price which our esteemed Ministers agreed to was the unfettered access of frozen fowl to South Africa - but their hands were tied. We took the lesser evil.-killing off one industry to let the others get a US foothold.
