rant - matrix warehouse - win.xp

1. Web pricing is always going to be cheaper than store pricing. Take a look at incredible connection, because it is to promote online shopping. Reason: it cost less to sell the stock over the internet than to keep it on the shelve in the store.

2. Sales person get a piece of the commission of the item that is for sale. He's commission is not added to the price. It is a hard living for an IT Sales person cause he only gets about 1 - 5% commission of the profit of that product. So put yourself in his shoes next time you complain.

Thats cool and makes perfect sense but they need to specify this!
You know PCZone has cash prices & credit prices.

A few pissed off customers set Wendy Knowler on them and even thought it's specified in the T&C at the bottom of the ad, products where the cash & credit prices are different MUST have two prices

All these arguments are a little pointless when all their brochures say :

E&OE We hold most items in stock. We reserve the right to cancel any specials without prior notice. Prices subject to ROE $1 = R7.90.

Well, no, actually when I last went there it appears that, thanks to Wendy, there is now only one price at PCZone... so people should sometimes be careful what they wish for....

matrix warehouse are always full of ****.

i went to buy thermal paste, went to compuzone 2 shops down, they had a tube for R25, only one left got it, thought i might need extra, walked into matrix, they have a tube for R55, i decide to leave it , arrogant twat remarks at me " its the same price everywhere, buy it"

friend wanted to buy a computer, we went into matrix, got all the components except for ram, asked for ram, told it was not on the stock so they can't sell it, ram is lying on the desk ****er too lazy to either make a plan or put it in stock, we ask him well leave the cash for the ram, he can just do the purchase tomorrow once they put it on the system, guy gives us attitude, we dump their computer , walk to compuzone 2 shops down and buy an entire computer there.

im in the shop looking for a new processor, their core 2 duo E6700 2.66hgz is R3499 for just the CPU

i can walk into zones and buy an entire machine, gig of ram, hdd, mobo, box, and core 2 duo E8400 2.66hgz for R3299, salesman says i'm smoking something and dunno what i'm talking about

;).....If you guys have issues mail [email protected] he is the owner

True but if matrix alberton hasent got stock of an item lets say (dvd Writer) The franchises hasto order in those items at suppliers and thier prices vary so the cost of that item is R10 less than the stated price on the website then they oveously hafto mark their product up?

Then they shouldn't advertise their products at a certain price. How would you like it if I say "I'll sell you this thing for R10" via email, but when you pitch I demand R15?

I just feel that franchises should honor their advertised prices, that's all ;)
