Rascals (The Sweets)

I bought Rascals from Spar in Saxby street, Centurion today. Pink packet and weird shape, almost like smarties, but more round. Tasted the same, though.
 
I don't think it tastes the same. It has those sugars after taste
 
I finally got my Rascals and I am very disappointed. They now resemble Skittles in shape, texture and even flavour. There is nothing original about them and to be honest, I'd prefer Skittles over them in their new form...
 
I am highly disappointed. It is not the original recipe and I wont be buying them again unless they get the original recipe
 
Got the pink packet, the purple packet and the sour ones at the clicks for R5.99 each. Nothing to write home about... sad really, it was a treat getting a packet as a kid.

Strangely enough, deep in the back of my brain I can remember what they tasted like. I can also remember the size and texture. Now when compared to the new ones, they are completely different.

I also remember my teachers being taller, and primary school being a lot larger ;)

When I went back for a function, I found they were completely different!
 
Finally found rascals here at Clicks for R10 for 2 (50g packets) so got wild berry and fruit flavours, still to try it and see if it is the same.

Edit: They taste the same just with different shapes
