Rasool and ANC delay major project again

Not suprising!

Rasool, treasury squabble over Somerset project
Lynnette Johns 20 April, 2008 Cape Argus
The redevelopment of the Somerset Hospital precinct, the "jewel" in the crown of public property on the edge of the V&A Waterfront, has been stalled by the provincial treasury which wants a private-public partnership rather than an open tender.

I sent off an e-mail to Mdme. Zille about 4 weeks ago and nothing back. Sent a mail to our Councillor - also nada. Phone the Council - all not in the office. Finally got through to an intellectually challenged individual (:o) and he was very friendly and promised lots. However again nada actually happening .. ever.

I chatted to someone looking at the lights with one of those big trokkies (road accident took the pole out) and he said he was overworked/underpaid and I mustn't expect a lot!

Conclusion: Council is dysfunctional.

What's wrong with you - it's not election time! How dare you expect a politician to interact with the likes of you outside of election time.

Next thing you will be asking for is honesty and transparency.

The mention of corruption is quite correct in my view. I think Rasool is indeed looking for his slice as you guys say...

Well theres a whole lot of them who'll be kicked out when Zuma takes over.
Have to line their pockets while they can.
Then the new generation can start...
