I will post a video later on how it works as a wireless media player, streaming videos from my PC on the network to the mk802 via wifi.

When will it be available?

The video should be up and running later tonight. I first need to upload to youtube and it might take a while to upload.

The items on the link is available immediately for shipping. Will take a couple of weeks to reach you though.

Tens of thousands or more are waiting for you to get your hands on this and to upload a review. Otherwise this exists on paper in a factory in China only, and I don't can't afford to take a chance with my money. It is not that it is unbelievable, it is just that there are scammer's out there, and even you don't have the device yet.

Kudos to you for taking a chance, though. We wait in anticipation, money in hand.

No worries I'll have it today. I understand your concern. This model is manufactured by a personal friend.

I will post the upload link here.

1) Car trouble this week, money got spent.

2) Don't have LCD TV, just DVI PC LCD

3) Your Youtube videos gave not enough on performance, although I need to watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSlyLhjTr-Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2baGH83vLi4 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3CSjDxh4vk.

4) Wondering about WIFI range, if those larger units with external antennae may be better option. The stick format is cute but then you need to hang out cables from all angles. Any issues with USB drives? Hubs? USB to ethernet?

5) This device needs it own thread instead of getting lost in the raspberryPi ether.

6) My last two orders were lost after being shipped via Hong Kong Post, no doubt in SA.

If you can wait 2 weeks I can send you the item from within South Africa.

I will still do testing with the USB - Ethernet adapter.

DVI wont have sound so might not work for your needs.
