Raspberry Pi touch display launched

LOL, it took them this long to get it working and to market....

The Pi Factory is already selling it, but retails for R1,191.30. So I guess that's for tax and import.

I'll wait to see if I can't get it cheaper later.

I was looking for a 7" touch screen solution that's powered directly by the Pi and not any 12v power supply.
So when loadshedding strikes, I can still use it to work and watch movies/series/anime etc.. :)

Why not get one of those AOC USB powered screens and a battery bank?
