I've been using MWeb for years.
To be honest I'm not sure how good their support is or isn't because I've never needed to contact them for support!
The uncapped ADSL package I'm using never has issues.

Very satisfied with their service. Support staff always friendly and patient, but handle queries professionally. Currently speeds are slower, normally it runs as advertised Screenshot_20200211-220815_MyBroadband Speed Test.jpg

Rating fair because:
Although with them many years, and them hosting my domain. I subscribed to their VOIP Service when we switched to fibre. Which also worked well while they had the MWEB talk app. Then the app got discontinued and they reverted to Zoiper. Support on this is very poor. I get the impression the VOIP service is not high priority at Mweb.

Service is good, fibre speeds at supposed 10mbs is nowhere near and is actually quite slow. Overall im quite happy, but will look at other options in future.

MWEB has not delivered us the bandwidth we are paying for. We have a 100/100 line with MWEB via Octotel and very rarely see download speeds of over 65mb/sec. There tech support process is laborious and in efficient. At times when calling tech support I have been customer 28 in the queue. They are not proactive about notifying us or updating there status board when there are known problems.

We are wanting to switch providers soon.

Overall im happy with mweb. Subscriber for a long time and dont have any reason to leave. Most of the issues we had was on Telkom side

I've been a happy MWEB ADSL client for many moons and recently gone over to fibre. My line is installed and all Mweb needs to do is send me the fibre router and activate the line. I've been trying get hold of someone in that building since Saturday to no avail - calls get dropped, no response to social media communication, nothing but "send me a dm" that doesn't get answered anyway. I'm frustrated and not a happy chappy at all. Their Sales service sucks! They are great at "pillar to post" though!!!!

Pathetic, wanted to move from Afrihost to Mweb because the Mweb network looks better in terms of upstream routing, they peer directly with tier 1 providers. Sit at nearly 4 weeks of waiting, bearing in mind no install requiered, just some soft changes. Have been requesting feedback since mid last week, havent received a single shred feedback besides "we have sent this to the relevant team".

Mweb is a ripoff
No threshold information on uncapped fiber packages.(they took it down) U get throttled to death...not to mention shaping. How i wish i signed with afrihost...i have yet to download a torrent at full speed. The wr7010 router...can only handle 3 devices at once...try streaming and browsing n the damn thing reboots 6 times in 1 minute. Complete nightmare...stay away from.these crooks...they the new telkom wen it comes.to daylight robbing. Im suppose to hav 20 down n 2 up line.
Forgot to mention....the threshold on a 10mb down 10mb up is a mere 175gb. Imagen working with that if you have a console...also on my current package(20up 2 down) i only get 2mbs download speed every night from 1 am till around 8 in morning.

Hmm not good. Cancelled my order was going to move from AH to them.

Afrihost support is absolutely hopeless, pretty much non existent.

The search continues for an ISP with competent staff and at the least industry average pricing.

Generally satisfied: when I moved to Fibre a few years ago their support was pathetic, but since then OK. Even found their VOIP support to be OK

Been with Mweb on ADSL for many years. Have switched over to other isp's for a little while but always came back to Mweb.

Network quality has always been good. Pings to gaming servers always good. On the couple of times I've called them for support, they have been helpful and able to deal with me on technical levels not treating me like dumb end user.

The only negative I can say about Mweb is that they are more expensive than many of their peers. Oh and their pop3 email servers are slow to get my email to me compared to gmail and others.
