I have since December 2019 vox telecom.
A Viber line 50mbps down & 50 mbps up uncapped.
Service is very good and always good feedback.
Even the app works great!!
Best isp in South Africa !!!

Before I had Myiweb pfff service is bad.
And to expensive.

Almost 1 year in and I’ve had very few issues. When I’ve had problems, the support tickets get responded to quickly.

They provide excellent gear (MikroTik) though mine is packed away and unused.

I’m also happy with my statement/billing and being able to easily change my payment method.

Biggest room for improvement: their app.

Vox support was top-notch with only 1 issue of no service in 18 months. They were already on top of the problem and had two followups calls to check it was now fine and staying resolved. Line speed consistently good.
Generally, SA pays way to much for fiber. Greatest: running the connection with a UPS even when Eskom has dropped us.

Overall I am very happy with them. Whenever I needed support I was assisted quickly and my concern was resolved.
What would make me happier is if fiber was rolled out in our area........:)

Have only 1 issue in the last 8 months with them. Service desk was very helpful and friendly and had issue resolved ASAP.

Would definitely recommend them. Not the cheapest but good quality service and good pricing.

value-for-money: On par with the rest, sadly MyBB seems to be leaving Vox out of all the comparison articles.
network quality: Been with Vox for ages, first Fatpipe, now 20/2 fiber. No issues here, even when international cables die
general service satisfaction: The only issue Ive had with Vox in the last couple of years was getting Fiber installed. Rest has been smooth sailing.

I recommended my sister to go through vox and a friend. Both Extremely happy. I had fat pipe internet and never let me down ever.
After a week battling with other ISP to get connected(9+ hours on-calls), I decided to tell them to go to hell.
In less than 2 days I am connected to the internet again. I made 2 calls only(both together less than 8mins) to tell them the Object number and just add a note for future reference telling them its an existing installation.

Overall 5/5.
Value for Money: Yes
Support: Excellent and regular feedback
Network quality: Good

Our Internet and VOIP phones go down with Vox at least twice a month (and then usually for a day - sometimes two days). It was off for two weeks at the beginning of the year. But I'm not sure if you can lay all the blame on them. The fibre in the pavements seems very susceptible to being dug up and damaged on a regular basis in Joburg.

It's frustrating though, because this was supposed to be our replacement for Telkom, and at this stage they are not much better than Telkom.

Been with Vox for about 5 years now, first on Adsl, then on fiber. Price is competitive, and the bundling of the VoxSupaphone with unlimited calls in South Africa to landline and mobile makes my billing a set fee every month, no surprises. (Missus used the phone all the time and call lasting sometimes up to 3 hours to family)

Only had 2 downtime issues, but Support sorted this out with a port reset.

Anyone else on VOX having very slow internet since the weekend?

My 50 down and 5 up line is running at 1.41 down and 2.20 up.

Just one laptop connect via LAN on network for the purpose to run the test.

Anyone else having this issue?

Mine feels like a 48K Modem in Cape Town tonight.
Been downloading a 150MB file for an hour so far and it still estimates 25 min to complete.

I only rated them good, not excellent, mainly because the high price increases, forced on them by Vumatel, has ensured that they are not really good value for money any more.

They also arbitrarily dropped my line speed, also forced on them by Vumatel, and I wasn't even informed about this, it was only when I queried my line speed that I found out what had happened.

Service and support has been good.

So die vark in die verhaal is eintlik Vumatel. It was better with Fibrehoods.
