They sure are.... and crapped on my head when I told them I lost a load of happy hours because I couldn't water my seeds

I also complained about it. I have lost more than a thousand bonus points because of down time. Oh well... no sense complaining about it. I still am getting what I want from there. :)

Just keep your clients running so that others who are still connected can still download from you. I just leave mine running 24/7 whether the site is up or not.

I had pears until about an hour after the downtime started this morning, then they all turned to useless apples. :p
Support told me that downtime of over 24h would be enough to reimburse us....

Hi all. I need to decide in the next month or so what to do about my internet situation. My choices are Neoconncet lite unlimited (if it works with international seeds etc), or I can use my adsl and add a second local only account....

I have never used a service such as BF- what is the content availablity like? Is it only new episodes or can one find whole seasons there? In general, what is a good ratio to maintain? I have an old laptop running 24/7, so can seed as much as I need to. I also have some good old school stuff from work that I could add into the mix ( I dig older movies too- sure there are others that are the same?).

Now the hard part: are invites still available, and what is the best way to get one? Or do you suggest I just go the Neotel route?

A friend of mine goes the neotel route. Complains about the constant disconnects (can't leave it running overnight without it dropping). The files are all new, the oldest I've seen is maybe 2 months old- as soon as it is seeded for x amount of time it gets removed.
Ratios are important to try and keep, preferably 1:1. Some people have huge ratios and this makes up for those with slow lines that find it hard to keep a 1:1 ratio.
The best way to get an invite is to ask for one...

I personally feel the ony route for P2P is telkom at the moment, until neotel steps up to the plate and provides their fibre connections.

As far as ration 1:1 is a good place to start 2:1 is preffered as at least than the community can see you giving back.
