INVITE TO BITFARM NEEDED PLEASE COULD SOME ONE INVITE ME IF YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OTHER SITES THEN YES I AM ON FEW FORUMS IN THE GSM INDUSTRY GO AND HAVE A LOOK I A SENIOR MEMEBER WITH WAY MORE THAN 100 POST PER SITE.

DOES ANY HAVE A LINK FOR DOWNLOADING THAT IS SIMILAR TO NEWSHOST AND MAYBE EVEN BETTER,WHERE ONE WILL NOT BE CUT OFF WITHOUT ANY WARNING AFTER ALL PEOPLE TO HAVE A LIFE AND A JOB THAT IS REQUIRED TO PAY BILLS IN ORDER TO STAY ONLINE,SO TO THOSE WHO NAG ABOUT POSTING HAVE SOME CONSIDERATION FOR THE WORKING CLASS NOT WANTING TO NAG OR SOUND LIKE IAM BITCING JUST SOME FACT GUYS.

so to you if it offends you not meant to be just easir for me beacause of the work we do its reqired to work in caps so after 14 years in the industry its habbit not mea
nt to offend and again i post and apology to all who feels
offended.

So it is a Standard in the GSM industry (or wherever) to type in all caps... ALL the time? Lol, since when? And what about grammar and stuff? Ever heard of those little dots, called FULLSTOPS? Use them for crying out loud. This ain't "the industry" ... it is a public forum. Sheesh :rolleyes:

dude, i hope ur not referring to me cos im def not a one poster. I've been on this forum for a while now; just not on the broadband discussions page

get a newsgroup browser.

That'll give you access to posts on the newsgroups.

Big files are split into many smaller posts on newsgroups. So you have to get most of those to be able to pull them all back together again. if some are missing/damaged/incomplete they may sometimes be repaired by using PAR2 files.

Newshost hosts NZB files which are just details on which posts in which newsgroups contain the required files for eg.smallville s1 ep1. There are many nzb sites on the net and you dont need to get into the local newshost site for the downloaded nzbs to work.

so
1. get nzb fir whatever it is you want to download
2. import nzb into appropriate newsgroup reader/browser/downloader
3. access newsgroup using 2. (there are many. Giganews is a fast paid service which has very decent completeness on the posts.)
4. ????
5. profit!!!!

How does one rapidshare ?? I used it a while back to DL some networking materials but I got the links from a forum. Nowadays I stick to newshost which is mostly working

thanks for the info. im very, very new to all of this :D i went to newshost but needed a username and password...couldnt find a register button:confused: i downloaded grabit, but cant go further without a NNTP server. regardless, youve been helpful and its appreciated
