thanks for the info. im very, very new to all of this i went to newshost but needed a username and password...couldnt find a register button i downloaded grabit, but cant go further without a NNTP server. regardless, youve been helpful and its appreciated

Newshost is not accepting anymore registrations. dunno why
Google: "Free nzb" and get the nzb's from there.

NNTP server : get the address from your isp. the locally hosted NNTP servers are so crowded that it takes forever to download anything. This is also why people dont want to give you the addresses. The more people who know about it, the slower it gets. There are paid NNTP servers(like giganews) who are far more likely to have complete posts and I get line speed downloads from them. Local cap wont work with them though.

New users don't have access to the game servers on bitfarm... only once you become a "power user" will you have access.

There are NO invites to NewsHost (Too many users).

Use one of the following instead...

As for invites to the Torrent Sites.... Invites are very controlled, usually only being given to people who are well known in a community (such as this one) and to people who have proved they are willing to share and not leech. Your best bet is to stick around here and make friends, and eventually someone will invite you.

over the past few days i have seen so many more people wanting to join up on these sites. I think if they get a 100% safe proof plan to keep it open for ever like the pirate bay, we can have seeds just like them one day. i'v seen a torrent with somewhere in the 6000\7000.

it should be well thought out to make it work so that everyone can join up, i really look at it like maybe the more users the more content with more seeds if only they seeded, and this is what everyone is worried about. nobody help seeding.

FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT GOT THIS SORT OF THING YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND YOU CANT JUST DOWNLOAD WITHOUT UPLOADING JUST THE SAME AMOUNT. IF PEOPLE DID"NT SEED, YOU WONT BE DOWNLOADING ANYTHING. CAUSE THERE WILL NOT BE ANYTHING TO DOWNLOAD. SO YOU HAVE TO REALIZE THIS IS HOW IT WORKS, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY IT WORKS. BUDGET YOUR ACCOUNT

I'm not on torrents, but just one thing.

Overseas people have line upload speeds that are higher than most users 384kbs download speeds

Just imagining how hard it is to keep up...

1) I support the theory of uploading as well! So no flaming anyone!

It is VERY hard to keep up. I strongly suggest an uncapped line or 30 GB account. Anything less is a waste of time.... for us and for you.
