So in conclution , All the answers provided by RB indicated that the BUMPER is the REAL THING , the reason why i requested all the information above was because the Item sold by RB was R60 cheaper than the Apple Store(US) , but it is possible for items to be found cheaper , i wanted to be sure that it was Original.


Once again , RIAZBAPOO , Is the Bumper Original or Fake , A simple "Original" or "Fake" reply will do , if you do not fully comprehend the english language i can translate the question to a langauge of your choice , please indicate

Must say that the above sounds perfectly reasonable. 3Gee appears to have addressed all our questions (except of course what the bumper currently looks like and whether he would still have alerted us if RB had supplied him with a replacement).

3Gee may have been a bit, shall we say 'intemperate' in his earlier responses, but the one above is clear and to the point.

RB, you are selling a product - you have an obligation to answer any and all queries relating to the product honestly and without any ambiguity. You have patently not done so.

In addition, you misled us with your implication that 3Gee stiffed you on the delivery fee.

And of course, at no point have you unequivocally answered the question - "Are the bumpers you're selling original or clones (genuine fake)

Not the way to build a good rep I'm afraid.
 
This is just fantastic. Having read both sides my leaning is ever so slightly tilted to 3Gee - only slightly though.

When you buy a BULLS jersey on the side of the road you KNOW that it is fake. I know it says BULLS and Vodacom like the original. And I know it has a "Genuine" label sticker. And I know it looks JUST like the real thing. After you wash it, and it is ruined, you can see the real difference. Fake goods fund drug smuggling, human trafficking and terrorism (or so we are led to believe). If something is cheaper than the official, original source (Apple US Store) you gotta be suspect already - sounds like 3Gee was suspect at this point, and s/he asked all the right questions. 3Gee - you were trying your best to get some legit item from what your behaviour suggests you knew to be an illegitimate source OR you knew from the beginning that it was fake and you were hoping to pull a fast one. Shame on you

RB: you have simply failed to answer the key questions. If you had, at the beginning of the sales transaction, replied what you know (however deep down) to be the truth - that they are fake - and the sale still took place, tough luck to 3Gee. But you did not. Nor at any stage have you clarified either way. An original apple product is very easy to identify - the packaging is first class, not cellophane. For apple, first impressions and product presentation are non-negotiables. Their other faults aside, of course.

And it is this (perceived) dishonesty that tilts me ever so slightly to 3Gee. Of course, if 3Gee continues to whine like this, that tilt could easily be swayed. It is R150 for crying out loud - what does anyone expect? You guys are complaining that your Dunlop tyres look ugly on your BMW 7-series. Cheapskates.
 
Well give credit where it is due, he has made sure that none of us will by anything from RB (unless you into Fake items). So Thank you.
 
Not taking anyones side on this because both parties are clearly in the wrong but everyone is nailing RB for not admiting that the products are fake yet 3Gee has also not posted any pics of the bumper that is falling apart after numerous requests to do so as well....

Who says the bumper is even broken ??

Call a Spade a Spade.. Both parties are not being completely open and honest and most probably deserve to have done business with each other....

This is my final response to this topic , The issue at hand is not the Bumper Falling apart , and yes i did mention this, the issue is the fact RB sold me a Fake Bumper even though he indicated that it was Genuine ,

The bumper "falling apart" is further proof that it is fake.The genuine item would not do this under normal circumstances. I merely indicated that not only are there visual differences , but the quality is so poor that it is "falling apart".
 
So 3Gee is just as good as the seller - keeps saying that the thing is falling apart but won't post pics, even after he said the item was as good as the original as per the PMs posted.

Again, to be fair, he did say that the quality was not the issue - his point was that RB asserted that they were genuine but they're not - if I remember correctly, the deleted PM's indicated that 3Gee only started moaning about the quality after he told RB that it was a "good fake" and then couldn't get RB to admit straight out that it is fake.

Ah well, I suppose at least we now know that RB is unable to truly vouch for his product

3Gee, I'm presuming then that it's not worth it to save 60 bucks - rather buy the originals for 210

1.) If its not an issue - why did he mention it in the first post?
2.) Why did he commented that its a good copy in a PM - and then only later complain?
3.) He says RB made false claims - yet he's not willing to prove his own.

Either way, they both 100% deserve what they got.

OK - had another look (zoomed up - you really should post a hi-res pic) - are you telling us that the 'ragged hole' on the corner was from normal wear and tear? If that is the case (scuse the pun) then you have proven your point.
