This. Most people in small hatches can't drive properly either. They're either youngsters or old women.

My wife is neither :p Neither is she a moron, just not particularly observant when it comes to lights.

She does have a habit of driving with her lights on, including front fogs - fortunately the car doesn't have rear fog lights.

People driving large cars are as guilty. Ever driven behind an SUV with those large rear fog lights on?

Only reasonable explanation is that he purposely turned all stalks till the fog light indicator light on the dashboard illuminated and then did not know how to turn the wiper off.
For non-Renault drivers not knowing how easy it really is: Fogs front = left stalk rotate forward, Rear fogs = left stalk rotate backwards & Rear wiper = right stalk rotate forwards.

To make matters worse, the driver was a fancy dressed "white-collar" male, mid twenties...
Not sure where the world economy is heading with this youth...:whistle:

I'll do you one better, also in a Clio 4, saw a lady driving a Clio 4 Dynamique at around 7pm with no lights on, the Clio 4 Dynamique has Auto Headlights (I know because I have the same car), meaning the moment it gets dark the car turns on the lights, even in underground car parking, you literally NEVER have to worry about headlights, yet there she was. My first guess is that she turned the Auto feature off. All that was on was the DRLS.

I see this with a lot of high end German car owners, countless BMW 5 series, X5 etc... driving on nothing but DRLS at night.
 
Had a Ford Ranger driving behind me one day. He had these massive LED's all around his front grill + fogs on. Looked like he is trying to light up Afrika. What a chop.
 
we need an "aftermarket HID thread"... they much worse.

People with older cars fitting this HID's that look bright and white, but have different projection to standard halogens.... AKA. insta-brights.

Ja nee, and some of the fancy new car ones the people don't adjust the level low enough for urban road either.

Anyway, I make use of my Osram Nightbreaker brights to show them the error of their ways (as long as said brights won;t impact others a lot).

some old people are so confused driving at night, that the act of doing that would blind them into driving into a ditch,
some old dogs cant be taught new tricks.

Yeah. I know this is the hate focklite thread, but I'll rather have to contend with a car lit up like a christmas tree than a moron that thinks cause he can see the road everyone can see his car.

I think it's either showing off or they see a light switch and press it. |Most modern cars switch them off by default once the car is switched off. My 2007 Corsa has fog lights front and back and if they on they will be off the next time the headlights are switched on so I assume any modern car will have that. I personally have used the rear foglights probably twice driving through Van Reenens in fog.
