Hi, please recommend a good panelbeater around Johannesburg North - Sandton/Woodmead/Midrand. I have had a few horrific experiences with panelbeaters hence my post here for good references. I've smashed my bumber but the car is still drivable.
Tx

I'll post the name of the company that helped me (big panel beater shop in Wynberg) as soon as I remember the name

EDIT: Think they were called Proline. My previous Polo had a run in with a truck...side mirror, door, bumper. Pretty bad. When I got the car back it was as good as new.

BB Cars? I've used them before and they are extremely professional with really great service and turn around times.

Had a terrible experience with proline! Car went back about 5 times... Used autosalon in randburg and was very happy

Thanks for that. Went to autosalon today for minor damages to my rear bumper. The guy fixed it in 15 minutes free of charge and simply advised me to keep an eye on if the plastic tears. Else leave it until I decide to trade in the car, but as it stands now you can't see any damage.

Very impressed. A Honda dealership told me it would have to be replaced, painted etc...

Happiness!!!!!

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I went to one of the shops recommended here and got quote for 8.5K for fixing minor scratches on 4 side panels and swirls on bonet. Also includes car polishing. Not sure if this is reasonable and will be contacting other shops as well.

Much as I hate shopping around - when it comes to panel beaters it's worth checking price and quality first - I see totally botched jobs that have cost big bucks every day in my job.
