So as some of you know I have a Honda CRZ and I love it.

Problem is it's not that practical, backseat wise, and within the next year I'm looking at getting a house.

So off I go looking at the Figo
Fiesta was maybe bearable.

Now that I'm used to leather I can't go back to all this plastic in the cheap crap cars.

So I want to try now look at something with a few more kms on it that I won't have to sacrifice so much.

Any suggestions?

I saw this for example:

Anything else you can recommend?

That Focus seems like the best deal of the lot. Great value for money there. If you are into French (Cars) the Megane III goes for keen prices as well & packed with features.

What does the Fiesta have that the Accord doesn't (Aside from the current generation "radio/MP3 player")? As far as I can tell the Accord has more "tech".

We are referring to the Focus here; as it was mentioned earlier. It was the current shape pre f/lift model.

And that would have an infotainment system; with all the relevant ports; auto lock doors (I know Honda's locally are not common with auto lock doors).

The Focus is a smaller; less powerful car but newer so weight saving; NVH & efficiency will be greater than the Accord as well.

I think that proves my case.

Just to add also. The shape Accord you mentioned is the f/lift 7th Gen model that 1st came out way back in 2002.

The Focus is the 3rd Gen model that was introduced in 2010 onwards.

So between those two yrs lots of car innovations & efficiencies occured.

Oops, saw the pic and thought it was the Fiesta sedan.

Look at the Chevy Cruze as well, should be able to get a 1.6 L in that price range and it would be 2011+.
