Recommend me a car

Toyota Auris...

I moered mine to Vredendal and back yesterday.

So what? 200k on a Mercedes in like 20k in a Kia. That thing's only just been run in.

To me, the only issue would be resale value once I've finished with it. Higher the km, the harder to sell due to the fear of mileage (often justifiable at the higher end, 200,000km+ IMO, depending on car).

Here you go, 2000 MERCEDES-BENZ S 320 for sale R 69 995

Classy reply, really.. Well done.

nowhere remotely close to your suggestion of buying 10 year old mercs pushing 300k kms

The suggestion you gave to somebody who apparently isn't interested in throwing ****loads of cash after a car. Someone who is about to lock himself into a homeloan, and presumably would want to at all costs avoid getting hit with epic repair bills and endless hassles.

hahaha yeah wooo hahahaa, good one :D

See here's the thing - just saying "recommend me a car" without any parameters regarding the application and price thereof will get you answers like that.

About the choice I posted, if I had that money to blow I would but that very car. I already have two low milage German hatchbacks that are fully paid and are hardly used on a regular basis. The S-Class would fit my usage pattern perfectly as I cycle to where I need to be 80% of the time, the other 20% I might as well do in style.

Gonna get me a custom plate for it too, CL-ASS-Y WP
