Recommend me a car

See here's the thing - just saying "recommend me a car" without any parameters regarding the application and price thereof will get you answers like that.

You might want to read the 1st post at very least...

Thanks guys. Got my settlement today, and to be honest was less than I expected. Time to do some sums.

Another one, you can't make this **** up, hahaha

not only are you inviting some inevitable hefty repair bills, with that specific car you also get to break your back on the most uncomfortable seats to ever be devised.

Max age and mileage?
We never got a response so something like the S-Class would be suitable IMO if you have a cheap and good mechanic...

Fashionable, perhaps, classy - no. There is no getting away from the S-class. It is the ultimate car.

The problem with the S-class is maintenance costs. It's not the car to get if you're buying on a budget...

These cars were built quite well so I think the only big cost you will be facing is fuel, with 3.2 being the smallest engine available and the car weighing in on the heavy side it will be thirsty. Avoid the ones with partial service history, go for those with full franchise service history and I think you will able to rake up a good couple of 100,000s in the old lady.

Lol at that Mickey Mouse interior.
Keep in mind that design is 15 years old - it competed with the dull, sombre and drab affair known as the Golf 4 GTI

The OPC interior looks more sporty. The Recaro seats are way better than the Golf couches.
