Recommend me a printer model please.

Laserjet with fax/scanner all in one. Not too expensive. Entry level model will do fine.

In HP I trust but if you can argue the case of another brand, feel free.

They all pretty much on par in terms of quality- what you need to look at is which one has the cheapest toner/yield ratio, because thats where they are going to snag you! also look which one has generic cartridges freely available.
