I've been out of the country for a long time so I'm somewhat unfamiliar with car service pricing here. My little city car runaround needs new ball joints + arms, (front left and right) as well as front shocks + shock mounts. That's what they've told me anyway. Will go for a second opinion somewhere else.

Went to Tyre Mart in Cape Town, quote was just shy of R9000 all in. Is this about standard for a little Daihatsu? Any businesses to avoid, or a business that is really reputable?

Firstly, welcome back to the motherland.

Last time I had those sort of things done I went to Supa quick. Shock were hella expensive even back then. But then again that was 13 years ago.
