Recommended Router for Rain Mobile

I currently own a R218h and B315s-22 router. Both work well with Rain mobile off-peak but the B315s-22 has weaker upload speeds.

I'm looking to replace the B315s-22 with a router that would improve my upload speeds, which routers should I be looking at?

Huawei b618-22d is the best router recommended for rain as it supports their 2600mhz frequency.

Careful not to get the b618-65 version as that is used for telkom frequency but will still work with rain, just on the slower 1800mhz frequency

Thank you for your response and apologies for the late response. The B618-22d is a little expensive for me at the moment so I will continue with my B315s-22 until I can upgrade.

My experience has been the exact opposite.

B618-22d - I have one and am getting incredible speeds with MTN Fixed LTE ( close to 90Mbps/25Mbps dl/ul) but Rain was unremarkable (5-10Mbps/1-2Mbps dl/ul) and I was not able to utilise 2600Mhz band, even when trying to force it using band tool

I just got my new RAIN4G LTE SIM. I reside in Mamelodi east and it shows that there is RAIN LTE coverage in my area.
What would be the best router to get good downloading speeds and streaming. Are the routers limited to the ones during the launch in 2018 or has the number increased. Can I get a MI-FI for this SIM or is it still only the locked routers for RAIN

Nothing wrong with those figures in reality.
Could be better, could be far worse too.

It's all about distance from tower( signal strength) and congestion.
I've never had luck with either on Rain personally due to my location at signal perimeter.. hence my move to MTN fixed recently and never looked back.

10x increase in both uploads and downloads.

I have a WISP contract till end of Nov can kick myself for getting a 2 year contract, if rain 5g isnt available by next December i would definitely go to mtn currently speeds are 100 plus

Some people live close to towers
