1. Will the RBM HD offer Android updates?

2. Will content streaming of red bull TV be zero rated?

3. What are the features of the RBM HD?

4. Can I upgrade a Prepaid data bundle (60 GB) to a redbull mobile offer and retain my unused data for the remainder of its term (I have 10 months left) and merely have it added to the contracts data bundle?

5. Will the unused data roll over or be lost at the end of the month?

I just checked out the RBM HD phone on gsmarena...I rather like it and looks like a good phone for me to play around with on Android. Will we be able to buy these phones cash?

1. I hope so but who knows.
2...?
3. Google or look in the main thread, many posters posted links to the phone.
4. I doubt it. It would be from cell C to RBM...?
5. I would guess no, at that price rollover is VERY unlikely.

Hoping that rpm/myBB gets hold of the RBM HD and gives us a review soon.

Iphone 4

Hey guys

I have been following various threads and trying to get this information.
I am returning back to South Africa the beginning of September and have been scouring the net for good mobile deals. The RBM 200 contract looks like great value for money and so I am keen to sign up. My only reservation and I am hoping you guys can answer it, is whether or not the RBM sim card and Cell C / RBM network (900mhz) will work in a unlocked Iphone 4 from the UK. (My current phone).

I realise that the Iphone 4 uses a micro sim but I am comfortable in converting a standard sim to a micro one.

If you guys could let me know that would be great, and if there are any other issues I might be missing with my idea.

Thanks

Yes it will as the Iphone 4 is UMTS 900 capable. However, Cell C do not offer micro sims as far as I am aware...so you will have to cut it down to size. You do this at your own risk. Also...do not expect Push Notification to work on the Cell C network (except if you take their Blackberry offer) Push on Cell C...she is brokeeen!

I don't think it would be a problem. But test it when you get here, buy a prepaid Cell C sim (RBM runs on the existing cell c network), cut it up etc. and test it. I don't think there is a better offer atm. Perhaps try asking in one of the Iphone threads.

True. I guess there no harm in trying, otherwise I am stuck with a 24 month contract.

Yeah- I guess there is no harm in trying. At least then I will not be stuck with a 24 month contract.

Hi All

RBM 200 is a great value for money.
Just you have to have a RBM sim in the RMB phone in order to Browse the portal at Zero rated.
You can use a RBM sim in a different phone, just wont be able to get assess to the RBM portal.
Only the Iphone 4 is 900+.

Regards

Yeha and than when you got a working variant of cut SIM I'm sure you can just upgrade to RBM and keep that SIM. But Cell C can represent.

BTW thanks for waking up a dormant tread :)
