Hi,

I am currently considering signing up for the 40gig data contract for R199. Would Vodacom allow this data to be transferred? If this data can be transferred, would I be able to transfer to both prepaid and postpaid users?

Hoping someone can share some insight.

I am rather looking at the Telkom September special of 30 + 30 GB offer for R199, or the month-to-month one of 30+30 GB also for R199.
Can share data with any Telkom number iirc.

Not sure about that specific bundle but back when I was with Vodacom they allowed my month-to-month data to be transferred to any Vodacom number but it was limited to 1gb per day.

@Stokstert - I saw the Telkom deal the other day as well. For me, 2 issues with Telkom. First, I have to work from clients' offices often and some clients are out of Telkom range or have bad signal. That data is only valid on Telkoms network, not on roaming. Second, I am wanting to share the data with family members who are on Vodacom contracts.

@tetrasect - I have a 2gig freeme contract currently with a S10+. Lately finding I am wanting and sometimes needing additional data. Looking at Vodacom for the better coverage. Would be a massive benefit if the data could be transferred.

Ok cool, I was about to go on about how Telkom is a must for any business for their free Telkom-to-Telkom calls. The savings are immense.
