Redmi Note 7 by Xiaomi

Asking for a friend.

Does the Note 7 not come with a 18W fast charger in the box?

If not where can one source one?
Nope none of the 7s come with fast charger.

Redmi7,Note 7 or Note Pro7

Watched a few review videos and none mention a fast charger.

Buddy picked up his 2x Redmi Note 7 Pro units, 6/128 from Banggood for $279 each. Had to buy the optional fast charger. Went for the Huawei 18W EU fast charger x2.

Pretty decent device for the price, bummer no Global ROM yet.

So if there's no global ROM can you still load the Google play store and apps on a redmi note 7 bought on Gearbest/Banggood?

Hey hey.

That's my phone Fiesta is showing off lol.

In all honesty, it's very easy. Global ROM available for change over soon as it's now available for the vanilla note 7.

Only downside to this is no AMOLED and DSTV Now compatibility.

I got it during a sale from Banggood. As mentioned, opted for the Huawei 18w EU fast charger.

Great bang for the buck. Must say though, another mutual friend just got his Samsung A50 and it's a stunner. If you're looking for an amazing display, you simply can't beat AMOLED. I upgraded from my Oneplus 3T and I miss those colors!

Hit me up for any questions or Fiesta. I had a lot of trouble shooting to do with installing some apps but at least I can share these solutions with you. Not hard, just wasn't obvious.

Peace ✌

I am considering buying a Note 7 on Amazon. Most folks on this forum seem to buy phones on either Gearbest or Banggood, but Amazon in this case is cheaper.

Has anyone here ever purchased a phone on Amazon?

Is there anything that I should know about?

Are you still happy with your purchase?

Yes I am.

If I were to choose again and were willing to do a contract, I'd do the Samsung A50 purely for the AMOLED display. Everything else is fairly similar.

Otherwise the N7PRO is good value for money but I miss my AMOLED. If you've never had an AMOLED display then you'll be happy because you won't know what you're missing

Jokes aside. Great phone this note 7 Pro.

Yea Amoled makes a noticeable difference.

Amoled is a lot brigher in sunlight aswell.

I have the cheaper A30 & impressed by the quality of the screen.

Buy the Note 7 from Takealot.

Priced similarly & comes with warranty.

If AMOLED means a lot to you, then you can't afford to do anything but the A50 for similar heavy lifting.

A30 won't cut it if you're a power user.

When you checkout on Amazon, you will be billed for shipping and import taxes upfront, usually at the standard rates. As a matter of fact, if they do overcharge you, they will refund you.

With Gearbest or Banggood, the import taxes are lucky packet rates.

From the rumours, the Xiaomi Mi A3 and A3 Lite might be the AMOLED solution to the Note 7 range.

Really cheap for the specs and light/moderate use.
