As the title mentions, I am in the process of registering my bsc degree with SAQA. I've read online that many applications often go unnoticed for months on end. I ensured that I submitted all required documents to avoid any problems, but is there any way of speeding this up? Anyone who's been through this process, feel free to drop your experience and advice below.

Who are you now again?

As far as I know, only providers accredited by DHET can submit a qualification for registration and not individuals.

That said, if there is already a qualification registered for the specific degree, it is unlikely another one will be registered.

Can you not achieve the already registered qualification through RPL?

Edit: Qualification registration for Higher learning must go through the Council for Higher Education.

I have to submit my foreign qualification for local rating as well, according to my Masters in the UK, it is the equivalent of a Masters locally, I need this confirmation before I can register for my Doctorate - so also interested in how long it will take.

True, but OP is asking about the evaluation of their degree and if it meets local standards.

You are better off going to SAQA offices in Hatfield to enquire if they have any expedited route.
