I watched the DVD "Fireproof" tonight with some friends. It's a must for just about everyone IMHO.
I've watched it, liked it too.

How do you keep relationships going. I know they a lot of work but how do you truly know when to let go and how do you move on.... Just a general question. Its good to know other peoples experiences...![]()
Why do people cheat. it's so wrong. If you dont wanna be with the person, just be honest.
Mind you sadly there aren't a lot of honest people around
Can you manage the change though ... ? Going from being a genuine person - to being a player and playing with peoples emotions?
I couldn't.
Relationships just work. If it doesn't come naturally and feels like work (or that you have to work at it to make it function properly) then you have your answer... it is time to walk away.

I don't agree with this. Relationships require work (making sacrifices etc. Feels like work) like every other worthwhile activity. Take your job/work. You werent born proficient in your current job. You got training, education, work experience etc and stuck with it.
And I think it is the same with relationships.
(I'm talking about normal relationships and not the crazy stuff like being in an abusive relationship etc)
The question then becomes is the particular relationship worth the effort?
it leaves you cold and empty.
