[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

I had this addon working some time ago and reverted back to using the official dstv now app but as of late, I cannot access certain channels on the dstv app, they fail to load, so im trying to go back to the Kodi addon and get the addon to work again but it fails to load any channel and I cannot see any information on the event log.

Did anything majorly change that I missed between these many pages in the thread?

I’ve now cleared all data from kodi and want to do a fresh install of the addon but thought I’d make sure prior to installing everything from the link on page 1 that there isn’t a new link etc?

Everything still working this side, but I haven't signed out for a long time. I use it every day to watch sport exclusively.

Kodi boot straight to the guide and also just the sport channels. No problems thus far.

Tried a fresh install on my Nvidia Shield Pro. Kodi 19.3. Nothing appears on the event log.

Hi Everyone, Im guessing DSTV has finally blocked Kodi from streaming DSTV. It wont allow you to switch channels once you entered your login code. After a few minutes you get the password is blocked error. Has anyone managed to get around this or is KODI dead?

Multikak is testing a feature that blocks password sharing, even in Kodi, especially on different IP's. Make sure you are the only one streaming. If you share the password with multiple people Multikak may even ban your entire account from streaming.
 
I'm guessing DSTV has finally managed to locked the password share limit on KODI. because mine is working again but I'm guessing the moment I log someone else in. The block issue happens. Because all my settings are right.

Just some background on why im trying to get this Kodi add-on working. I am outside SA and have been using the native DStv now app which was working fine for me until a week or 2 ago. I am able to login etc. but there are specific channels which cannot load, ie. 202, 203, 101 and some others. All others work as they should... the errors I get for those channels are "something happened PER 0". I have 2 VPNs, Surfshark and NordVPN and the results are the same no matter the VPN I use, so I am trying to see if the problem is the app itself or if those channels have been IP blocked or something to that effect.
