[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

Anyone else faced with login errors, like when the box goes into standby or I turn it off for the night - the following night I get a login error something about validation error: jwt expired - logging out and back in resolved it, but it's a daily grind now.

I dont have this issue. I watch a stream or 2 only on weekends, usually works fine without having to log in again.

What I found though, when I log in to kodi, I have to give it (kodi) some time to calm down before I start a stream. Works 100% then.

Me neither, I'm no expert but it sounds like something on your box is not making things persistent, did it perhaps upgrade recently?

Okay so I reverted back to the original skin for Kodi and it's resolved now... no more errors.

I have Kodi on a number of devices, including a Teclast M30 and a Teclast M30 Pro. The DSTV add-on works great on all of them, except the M30:
On the M30, the picture is fine, but there is no sound. Sound works just fine on the same device when using music or videos that are played directly through Kodi, but DSTV via the add -on had no sound at all.

Any ideas on giving this? I have already tried all the sound settings that I can see...

Fresh install?
Cleared cache?
Force an update of the addons ... could be widevine related? ... did it ever work on that model?
Done all of that. Also tried Kodi V19.3, 19.4 and the V18.x. it has never worked on this tablet.

I will check the widevine compatibility. However, the picture is perfect. It's only the found that isn't working.

Hi guys, so I've been using this addon for quite some time, however, recently I have run into an issue: when pressing play on any channel, I receive a pop-up stating an error has occured that has affected playtime. I have no clue on how to fix it, I have reinstalled, cleared cache, reinstalled Kodi, updated addons - nothing.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

what version of kodi you running? Maybe try 19.4

Hi all.

I'm running kodi on a Pi4 and since yesterday afternoon DSTV now only streams about 4 seconds then buffers indefinitely. anyone else experiencing this issue? I've tried forced updates on everything, resetting, relogging, but nothing seems to work. Looks like slyguy had an update yesterday so i'm guessing that is what broke it

Glad to see its not only me. Literally jumps 3 laps backwards, and then back to normal. Rinse and repeat. And most channels showing show information unavailable
