[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

Hi. I'm on Kodi 19.3 on an Android TV Box. DSTV used to work fine on Kodi, but now it streams a couple of seconds and then just buffers indefinitely. The official Android app streams fine in HD, so it's not a VPN or speed issue. All other streaming in Kodi is also working without issues. Is there maybe specific settings in Kodi that will only affect DSTV and not other streaming apps? Any suggestions please!

Yes, it is possible to switch directly to the stream. I have it configured that way.
Go to Settings -> PVR & Live TV -> Guide -> Default select action. Then select "Switch to channel"
That should then work immediately.

You legend.. I've looked through those settings probably 6 times on both my pc and android box and never noticed it.

same my side, my profile works perfectly on all apps but kodi it just tries to open and nothing happens. my old profile seems to work.

Hi I received this same message last week. I had to wait 24hrs and change my password. What did you do to fix the problem.

They fixed it but now i cant use my profile on kodi and their stupid app buffers so much!

Maybe they did something special to the profile. Maybe just create another and delete that non-working profile.

Tried everything and kodi wont work, also other thing is my profile randomly buffers every 10-20mins on the dstv app. 100mb fibre line

Channel 199

They had the premier league on. Not bad quality at all. Not Netflix or Prime 4K but very decent for streaming live sports.

If they stream other sports like rugby and cricket and even the movies channels in 4k then DSTV streaming package for R699 might actually be worth it.
