You are going to lick DSTV's rear end blue, for a good many years, before they give you proper 4K.

it was a slyguy issue (pushing updates at midnight without proper testing)

should be fixed with latest slyguy common 0.57.0 (just pushed)

Bunch of new playbacl settings in slyguy service settings now though

by default, all my addons wont use H265 streams now unless enabling "H265" support in the Slyguy Common Settings > Playback. So if DSTV has H265 streams at higher quality, that would need to be enabled.

Haven't downloaded it yet.
19.5 works perfectly, so I'll just stick with it for now.

Can you please check why the AE / UAE region is still being blocked on your add-ons whereas on the actual DSTV now app on iOS it isn't . Also via now.dstv.com it is allowed , no VPN required. Running it through Kodi and Fire Stick, it gets blocked with a error about being in AE and it's not allowed here.

It might be hard coded in your add-on , perhaps with an update you can remove it ?

I've done one update and one clean install. The add-on works with both units.

No, not as far as I am aware.

Edit:

DSTV are more than somewhat annoyed that this Kodi addon exists, and I doudt this feature will ever be added.

If you really need to save a copy of a stream, get a screen capture device, with passthru for video and audio, and use that to make a copy.
