Why a HTPC? I presume.Yeah, I wouldn't mind an IPTV solution that works through KODI. The one I'm currently using is adapted for Android/iOS so on Windows PC requires Android emulator (BlueStacks) which is really resource intensive, especially on my aging hardware...
Having said that, it works reasonably well...

So very trueHit n Miss is unfortunately unacceptable for the 'normal' members of a household.
To be fair it's been 100% stable since around 1pm... issues could be ISP related, Afrihost gigabit fibre no longer cutting it? Would you believe?
Using it on RAIN 5G at another site and 100% all day long....
Go figure...
Tell us more...the iptv provider i use is fantastically stable. hardly experience buffering.
