Hoping somebody can shed some light on this matter.

I am trying to setup a remote CCTV monitoring system.

In a nutshell its a fancy Samsung DVR with a NIC. the system works fine, I can access it internally no problem.

I'm connecting to the net using a Linksys WRT54G3G and 3G card. I am able to browse fine. Problem comes in with remote access, for some reason I just cant access the blerry router from the outside ! I have taken the firewall down, setup dyndns correctly, checked my ip address externally, even tried to access it directly via the IP, nutinn, niks nada.

Then tried to hook things upto a Vigor2910g router, same story, browsing 100%, just remote access.

I need to get past this hurdle first then I can look at the NATting..

Where am i going wrong ? Any help would greatly be appreciated !

You need to be on the blerry unrestricted apn.

The other apn's (internet, internetvpn) block all those blerry incoming ports. ;)

V3G, could a few changes be made to the FAQ so we dont keep bugging you for help or post outrageous stress related rants.

Maybe add how to go about getting access to the unrestricted APN's and which ports are blocked (incoming and outgoing - common ports) on restricted APN's.
