It goes without saying any remote role, even a non-lucrative CTC one, will be immensely tough & competitive af.

that and ... if you want "international" you are competing with these folks specifically, every major IT company has swung the axe hard on a regular basis for the past few years

you'd probably have more luck looking for a local remote gig, we don't have the kind of budgets that attract all these highly qualified overseas job seekers

also worth noting your head would roll as easily when working for those companies
