remote software ubuntu

Hi guys!!

Ok so I finally got my iburst sorted out on my Ubuntu desktop.. any suggestions for good remote software for Ubuntu? I am looking for something like LogMeIn, but it is not available on Linux? Any suggestions?

yep been considering that, but is it connected the whole time then? and is it free? basically I am going to keep my Linux machine running the whole time and whenever I want to login remotely from work or any other place with my laptop it must be on? know it is possible doing this with LogMeIn?

Teamviewer has the same function its called unattended connection you just have to set it up...

Ye, depending on what needs to be done the terminal might be all you need.
