I have been having problems with accessing a website www.rentacoder.com from any of the SAIX affiliated ISP's. It only effects certain links from the website and not the whole site. I managed to browse successfully from a friend's vodacom 3G account.

Here is an announcement from the RAC website.

Attack followup: Since the large denial of service attack against Rent a Coder last Tuesday, some ISPs in South Africa are still blocking access to the site. Users in that country receive a 404 page not found error on certain pages because of this. If this is your case, we ask you to email us the name of your ISP and send us a TRACERT. Our ISP is attempting to use that information to force them to fix the situation. We also encourage you to contact your ISP as well, since you are a paying customer and have more sway than we do. Finally, several users have reported they could work around the problem by switching ISPs. If this is an option for you, you can do the same thing. My apologies for the inconvenience and thanks for your assistance.

Is there any way I could get somebody from SAIX to look into this ?
Since I make a living from this website it really is a bummer.

I can also access the site without any problems, using a straight Telkom account...

Its only certain parts of the site that seem to bomb out. Mostly for logged in users.
To see it in action if you are not logged in... go to Feedback/Contact at the bottom of the page , select Technical Support and go next.
This happens to many of the links when you are logged in.

I have two SAIX accounts and it happens from both. Vodacom 3G is not affected.

ok, i also get that error from there. Have your send the isp details to them as per their notice about this issue?

Also phone / email your isp about it (hopefully it isn't telkomisp)

I Have sent them the details. My ISP is webafrica. Saix at the end of the day.

Update.
If you use https instead of http the site seems to work.
Can any of the IT gurus's please explain what could be the problem here.
